Steelers at Colts Inactives: T.Y. Hilton, Quincy Wilson Active

The Indianapolis Colts announced their inactive players ahead of Sunday’s 1 PM EST kickoff against the Pittsburgh Steelers and were given some great news as star wide receiver T.Y. Hilton will be active, as well as cornerback Quincy Wilson:

Having Hilton for the game obviously is a big break for the Colts, as so far, the team has won all 3 games in which he’s had big offensive performances:

Not to mention, the team will already be without starting wide receiver, Kamar Aiken, meaning Hilton should be expected to carry even more of the receiving workload.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have allowed the 2nd fewest points per game in the NFL at 16.4 avg. points per game, as well as the 2nd fewest passing yards per game at 180.0 avg. passing yards per game. As such, the Colts simply couldn’t afford to lose Hilton for this one as the team’s most dynamic playmaker.

Otherwise, rookie 2nd round pick Quincy Wilson figures to serve as the team’s 4th cornerback or dimeback in this one, but could  potentially push starter Pierre Desir for reps as the season progresses.

Lastly, besides starting outside linebacker John Simon–who’s missing his 3rd straight start with a ‘stinger’, Jones, White, Clark, Williams, and Burwell all appear to be healthy scratches for this one.
